MOSCOW, April 24 (RIA Novosti)
Some of the world's leading journalism associations, heads of media organizations and Russian state bodies are to take part in the second "Future Media" forum in Moscow on June 19.
"For a second time we will host leading media experts, who do not only create the future with their companies, but also forecast the future for all the rest," said RIA Novosti's Editor in Chief Svetlana Mironyuk.
Experts will discuss how to successfully cooperate with social media and define centers of capitalization in mass media. The event will also focus on key concepts in development of media, with presentations by foreign and Russian speakers.
Main themes of the forum:
- Key trends in development of media
- Twelve new trends which are changing news
- How to create involving content for social networks
- How to maintain a reputation on the internet
- The currency of new media: money or ‘likes'?
The forum will host special guests, including leading world experts, researchers in media, authors of bestsellers, and top managers of the most innovative media; Manuel Castells, one of the top sociologists, news analyst Ken Doctor, Andrew Hayward, founder of one of the most successful internet projects in the development of CBS News, and Jeff Moriarty, vice-president of the publishing house "The Boston Globe." Also attending will be Jiri Voves, one of the founders of the monitoring and social media company SocialBakers, Arsen Rezanov, an expert in internet technology, media-analyst Andrei Miroshnichenko, and the founder of one of the most authoritative resources in Ru-net, and blog-platform Liveinternet.ru, German Klimenko.
